Wash Instructions

Turn your t-shirt inside out before washing. Machine wash with cold water. Hang to dry. For best results, do not put t-shirt in dryer.

When wrinkled, it is okay to use a steamer. Do not use an iron on or near the braille beadwork. Like most t-shirts, this fabric is likely to attract lint and hair. It is best practice to use a lint roller.

MEET THE MODEL

Iolanta Mamatkazina

Iolanta (Lana) is a 13-year-old legally blind opera singer who loves music and fashion. In addition to singing, she also plays multiple instruments, recently started DJing, and loves to perform. Lana was diagnosed with cancer of the retina in both of her eyes at only ten months old. An unsuccessful surgery left her with zero remaining vision. Today, Lana reads both braille and braille music, and uses a white cane to navigate.

What does this experience mean to you?

“Meeting two other blind models, hearing their inspirational stories and how they grew up to be such great individuals, it makes me so happy. They have the same disability as me, so I can feel way more comfortable and in my own comfort zone and just say that they're my big sisters. I feel so much more confident. This experience was super thrilling for me. Like, I feel absolutely amazing. I've never felt this confident, ever. And I’ve never felt this Barbie before!”
